Simple direct cremation

About Value Cremations

Value Cremations provides a simple, all-inclusive direct cremation service for families and whānau across New Zealand.

We're here for families who don’t want the fuss of arranging a funeral service right now

Some families want to gather later, in their own time. Others prefer to keep things private and simple. Either way, we keep the process clear.

You can arrange online, or call us if you would rather speak with someone first.

What we do

Direct cremation means the cremation is arranged without a funeral service attached

We collect the person who has died, care for them respectfully, help organise the required documentation, arrange the cremation, and return the ashes to you.

Our service includes the essentials needed for a direct cremation, including professional care, transport within the covered area, document organisation, a basic cremation casket, cremation arrangements and return of ashes.

We keep the service simple so families know what is included, what is not included, and what happens next.

What we don’t do

We don’t provide a full funeral service as part of Value Cremations. That means no viewing, venue hire, catering, flowers, notices, or service planning included in the package. We keep the service focused so the cost is clear and the process stays simple.

If you want something more traditional, that’s completely okay.
Many families choose a memorial later, when there’s less pressure and more flexibility.

Backed by experienced funeral care

Value Cremations is part of InvoCare New Zealand, which means families are supported by established funeral care facilities and experienced local teams across the country.

That support matters. While the service is simple, the care behind it is not.

We work with trained people who understand what needs to happen, how to guide families through the practical steps, and how to care for the person who has died with dignity and respect.
